Months of the Year

There are twelve months in a year; January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December. An easy way to teach is to incorporate games and use flashcards to teach the names of the months. Other than that, displaying birthday calendar in the classroom can help students remember their and their friends birthday months.

In this worksheet, students learn to order the months of the year. To reinforce spelling skills, unscramble the spelling of the months.
Exercise 1: Read and order the months of the year.
Exercise 2: Put the letters in order to write the months of the year. Unscramble the months.
Exercise 3: Drag and drop the days to match the sentences.
Exercise 4: Read and match the sentences to match the questions.
Exercise 5: Look and write the day which matches the date of the month.
Exercise 6: Read the answers then make questions.
Exercise 7: Complete the passage by choosing the correct word.
